zen-do is a command-line interface (CLI) tool for preparing, managing, and publishing Zenodo deposits from a metadata file and your existing research files (e.g., code, data, metadata, documentation).

  • Manage your project on your Zenodo account from the terminal.
  • Convert metadata between formats such as .zenodo.toml, .zenodo.json, _quarto.yml, pyproject.toml, and CITATION.cff
  • Publish and update projects from the terminal.
